What about...
- petrification ailment on one or more party members
- (more) random teleporters
- doors which open in only one direction
- fake stairs which bring you back to the start of the floor
- TP draining traps/tiles
etc.

i only know this from hearsay, but didn't EO already have its share of random teleports in one game? or better teleports where it depended on the time of day were they went?
