EOU2 expectations

This entire subforum feels like just a bunch of whining if you ask me and it's making me grumpy. [This post had a lot more complaining about how I can never visit this subforums without having to loudly sigh because of all the negativity and other bs, but I decided to leave it out because I honestly sighed at it myself and decided that the first sentence is enough to express my feelings right now.]

No, it would not be unbalanced.
In fact, having several classes have abilities to do the same thing in different ways would actually be a sign of thoughtthrough balancing and classsynergy.
Said this before, saying it again:
Untold 1 already had the major problem that the game came across as not expecting/wanting you to play your own characters/party setup, but instead use the pre-set story mode party, change their classes for grimoire stones, and then, after playing main-story and post-game with them and getting all the ultimate equipment, use them (probably still at level 99) in the NG+ to gain the last medals in a rush.
4 had wonderful class balancing/synergy in the sense that you weren't bound to have a specific class no matter what. Hell, you could even play without a medic.
That didn't make the game any easy-mode thing, but showed the team behind it did their work.

Something tells me that Untold 2's characters/Story Mode wont be as cliche and craptastic as the first one's, but I won't hold my breath.

I'm just in it to play EOII with improved mechanics from EOIII through Persona Q.

Seriously, the improvements made to the mapping in Persona Q alone make me quite ecstatic.

Seriously though, I'm glad they're fixing stuff up to make my favorite game in the series more accesible. I haven't tried EOU but I'd give this one a shot if I had more time and money. Even just fixing the quest chains would be a huge step up, and make the game so much more playable.

The only way i'd see myself rage over voice actor changes is if wakamoto was part of the original cast and then they would change that in to someone else.

Besides, the english voice actors are gonna be hurting my ears anyways, its not as if I even have the choice of using original japanese voice actors.
