Is anyone looking forward to this? Everything I've heard has made me apprehensive. This would be the first EO game I don't buy at launch. One, because it's $50 and two, because everyone keeps talking about how this game is even more messed up than the original. EOII is one of my favorites in the series and I'd hate to know that it turned out worse than the original. My plan, when I do buy it, is to head straight to Classic mode and forget about Story entirely.

I'm looking forward to it (even though I'll have for it until next year) and I'm gonna play both Story and Classic, since this has multiple save slots for once.

I'm looking forward to it, why? From my understanding, the Beast can actually live without passively killing itself now and am loving the idea of being able to use the class for once. Whenever I do get the game, my plan is to go through Story Mode and then eventually do a Classic run (with a Beast).

That's probably because they have a War Magus on their team which makes them better than everyone. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Wilhelm is his name, I'd take him down first. He doesn't have much HP so he can be taken out very quickly. Plus his damage is mostly elemental so you don't have many ways to reduce it. Use a Cut Mist to make Artelind do trivial amounts of damage.

Don't stall in taking out Wilhelm though. If you take too long to kill him, he'll use Joyshot, which inflicts every ailment in the book, not fun at all.


BTW, you will learn to hate the 3rd strata boss ;o
