Highlander DLC Question

I might have eshop cash soon finally. If I buy Highlander dlc, is it strictly classic mode only, or can I officially get spears in story mode?

The class itself is classic mode only unless you use Alter Class, but it does allow spears to be gotten in Story mode.

Thanks, that's what I needed to know. Since it's a dlc add-on, wasn't sure before if it would give me spears in story mode. Good to know it will.
