So I know the game hasn't been out yet but with so much character customization involved, I find it harder than usual to build my roster to enter the dungeon. What will we find in this new and exciting world that will either balance or break the game?

I felt like this place will be spoiler heavy but for people that bought the game in Japan, I just need some character tips that can help me not be a huge messup that can't make it through post game.

Update!: While I did ask for a party setup for EOV involving a Shaman, I decided to figure it out. How does one feel about a Dragoon and a Shaman?

Necromancer and Hound on the same team seems like a really bad move. You have 3 summon slots, the Hound's pet will take one (two if you use the other, but that's a bad idea because each of their 2nd names specialise in one + skill points), and the Dragoon's Bunker/Pillboxes can take up slots if you decide to use them. You really need to have all 3 slots available only for your Necro if you want to have one.

I am considering using a Dragoon and Shaman for my party. Though someone on Amino suggested adding a Fencer or a Musarao, I would like someone else's two cents on that one because while I like the idea of having a Musarao, I kind of show more interest in what the Reapers could do. The Fencer's attacks also aren't calling to me as well, they sound like a mix between Landsknects and the weaker aspects of the Dancer.

Notice, I am trying not to add doubles now. I honestly see interest in other classes.

EDIT: I guess I need to show you the builds out of the two shown to me from the post and people will figure out if I made the wrong choice or not. I am usually an 'Attack them with Everything' kind of explorer to be honest, though I do like Passive Buffs and Debuffs.

I definitely want a Reaper, Fencer, Warlock, Necromancer, and Masuro right now based purely on appearance. I'll have the rest of the classes so I can play around with how they work and then have a guild based on how I like the classes to work together.
The hype is so real in the wait for this game >.>.

I wanted to have Fencer, Dragoon and Warlock because of their designs, so I take them and Shaman/Hound to support

Gun Dragoon - Chain Fencer
Generalist Warlock - Oracle Shaman - Wolf Hound

I'll have to buy a DLC portrait cause I don't like ANY of the Shaman designs though

Skillsim doesn't cover it, but Alter apparently had a secret that's not mentioned anywhere.
It gains damage when a weakness is hit by the party, starting at the time it is cast, up to twenty times. Hits about 1040 %, at most.

I read that it was only when Warlock hits a weakness, and it increases damage by +50% each time

And that's why the multi-hit charge skill is great
