Photos rarely work well (I've only managed to scan one of about five or six without editing). Try scanning your photo in the game. If it works, it'll tell you it's your own guild card.

Seven pending DLC, adjustments, and/or space for card-recruits. Colour-display on this 3DS isn't great. I can't actually tell the difference between a number of sample-squares.
Advanced RGB-bars are still neat, though.

Nah, 's okay. Those New!3DSes seem like a pain in the behind to get data off.

It took a little while to set up, but now I can pretty much press the thing on the thing and then open the folder on my PC. Old screenshots from Pokemon and stuff are also there, so seems convenient.

Yah, I'm not often a completionist myself. But with the full game still a ways off I'm just getting all I can out of the demo ^_^;
