The official page has also been updated with some videos. Accourding to thos, there'll be 10 classes, 3 of them locked.
Now, 2 of the locked classes are Ninja and Prince/ss... But there's no clue to the third.
Imps? Highlander? Sniper? Zodiacs? NPCs?
I wonder how many characters from previous classes here?

I wonder if they are keeping the tradition that if you die you're reset back to level 1 and start all over or if like with Shiren they gave you the option of diff play style that didn't do that.

Didn't play Shiren, but I love the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon saga (episodes on the DS where super cool, the 3DS one was nice but meh...), where on Game Over you lost a percentage of the items from your bag and returned to town.
If they keep this the "Etrian" way, you'll probably just return to your last save (if you're careful it would be just before entering the dungeon).
It will depend on the difficulty level they want for their game, and EO is known for its difficulty, so they'll probably not be nice on Game Over
