Farmer in main team?

Is anyone actually using Farmer in their main team? How does it work out for you? Farmer seems like one hell of a TP battery and has a few useful support skills, but other than that...?

I've stalled hard on my first playthrough, haven't beaten a main story yet, but I do have a Farmer in my main team, subclass Sovereign. The main things I have him do is boost EXP, spread strange seeds and harvests, and support my main class Sovereign. They are both in my back row. Perhaps if my Farmer were in the front row, he could feed people TP via Fearless/Share the Wealth, but non-combat regen is their specialty. My Sovereign is my TP battery.

I always bring my Farmer when I explore labyrinths. He always makes the experience feel more rewarding. Strange Seeds and Harvest Festival together obliterate most random encounters. In my most recent boss battles, however, I've come to think I should switch/remove him from those. He doesn't contribute anything but soak some damage and use items.

I want to make sure to mention that maxing out Earth's Bounty makes everyone gain slightly more EXP than they would if they were a 4-member team. My main party's levels are bloated somewhat as a result.

PS: I do have a gathering team of 2 Survivalists and 3 Farmers, 1 of whom is my higher level Farmer Prince. He's the de facto leader.
