From a Remainer in the UK, a Le Pen win will certainly help the new UK order, as Brexit is pretty much guaranteed to happen. If Le Pen does win and drops out of the Euro, renegotiates the French position in Schengen agreement and the inevitable Frexit referendum that is likely to win on the basis that there is a large amount of apathy toward the EU and the want for change, any change, regardless of how harmful it is, is great for us.

My view is that the Le Pen vote has become a populist movement with an European twist. Much like Brexit in the UK. It is broadly the popular opinion within the Murdoch controlled media and therefore a popular opinion with many of all backgrounds and educations (although in the UK, broadly speaking it was the disadvantaged, poor and ill-educated) that had yet to reach the mainstream parties.

If there is a Frexit, it will essentially be the end of the European Union as two of the three big countries would have left leaving Germany alone to fund the south of Europe who are still haemorrhaging public funds. It would also give Germany alone a rather large powerbase which would further increase tension.

The US situation was different, as it's just a two party race with no chance of anything else. Especially given they campaign for about two years. The grassroots campaign groups like the Tea Party movement had been working on subverting opinion and shifting someone like Trump into the limelight through populist movements for years.
