Election 2008
I can't believe we don't already have this topic up.
I'm a staunch liberal in every sense of the word. I don't necessarily like the Democratic party, but I'll be casting my vote for Obama.
My fiance, however, wants to move to Canada if McCain wins. I'm pretty cool with Canada so long as it's Vancouver. They have the best weather.

I know so little about either of them :\. I'm just not that much into this election. I was all excited wanting to vote last election but couldn't due to a move getting in the way (my vote was NOT on Bush). This one... it seems like a reality tv show called "battle of the celebrities"
Can I ask, though, why your fiancee is so against McCain? Right now I feel like they are all just spitting out whatever they think the public wants to hear that I don't have a clue about what either of them are like.

Sarah Palin was the only conservative governor, so unless McCain wanted to scrap the barrel for a junior senator for that precious feminist vote...
Seriously. I can't figure out why else he would have picked her.
-_-; She is so woefully under-qualified. Good thing the VP is a [s]worthless[/s] easy position to hold.
