Is there much business travel, I wonder, to justify it?
As for revamping our transit system entirely, sign me the fuck up. I wish bicycling was as popular for city travel as it in Copenhagen or elsewhere.
Also, mass transit trains.
Cars = EVIL

More cars, lots more of them. Public transport is just so... public. I love my car and would never, ever be without it. I'd be happy for the roads to be expanded and more cars to be sold - however, they need to be hydrogen powered. Those cars are awesome with water as a by-product. Awesome.

oh no no no no
hydrogen fuel cells are way too expensive to mass produce

Cars create urban sprawl.
Also, like Seni says, they're expensive and not technology feasible.
We have the technology (mass transit + bicycles + hybrids/higher fuel efficiencies) we're just too lazy and greedy to change.

Earth has too many cars.
More Trains + less Cars = less assholes and/or drunkards driving around.

I'd definitely end up falling asleep, but I would not intentionally go to sleep.
Man, trains are oddly soothing, now that I think about it.
