I cringe reading anything I put in here 10 years ago. I can't believe I was allowed to vote

… Oops, I didn't notice the thread was nine years old! I think it's an interesting subject in any case.
(I don't remember what I used to post ten years ago. One or two messageboards I used to post on at the time are still alive but… I'm afraid to check, haha.)

Re: The Morality of Capitalism
i joined this forum when I was 16. So it's part of my most formative years.
At that time I....probably identified as a (american) libertarian, of all things. Now I'm pretty firmly a leftist. Just a result of my experiences and those of the people I've met...
I actually had to get a job with a school district partially because I couldn't stomach the mindset of working retail or on games or stuff like I used to. The idea of working towards a profit basically compromised any sort of genuineness of what I was doing. I feel a lot better getting paid with tax dollars. So that's how I feel about capitalism...

Re: The Morality of Capitalism
The only thing I've learned in ten years is that poverty is fate and prudence doesn't work. I'm still a bad person and unstable, a little bit dumber, now with 20 % more dromophobia. :3
