I suggest going with the one for sale at Amazon Warehouse Deals, unless you find something local. That's a fair price, in my opinion, and I've never had an issue with the few things I've bought through that channel.
The fact that the default list price is $85 on Amazon can be attributed squarely to HitGaming Video Games, who are notorious price inflators. Once in a blue moon they have a reasonable price, but I suggest you always scan all the new and used listings. You might score a really good deal in the used section (like from Warehouse Deals or, on the rare occasions that I'm selling something, me.

Maybe Etrian Odyssey 2 will have a localization in Europe.
If you're looking for EOI, I'm still seeing that game a lot in European shops.
The font is a lot nicer in the European version, and beside a couple of class names,
Nothing has really changed AFAIK, so you should try a European shop.

I doubt the dialogues have changed at all if you're playing it in English.
