Etrian Odyssey is listed as one of the planned games for the upcoming new console, the 3DS!

Although it's not 100% confirmed, it's my guess that they wouldn't put it on the list for nothing, and it will get released. Whether it will be only a port, or whether it will have some extras and various new things we shall have to wait and see.
