I'm a big fan of moving back and forth in front of the door to watch new FOEs. I'll always get right up in their faces and hide behind doors or warp wire away just when they've trapped me in a corner. >D
Although once a Stalker snuck up on me when I got trapped in a battle... but I was actually able to flee. 'Course he'd killed my entire front row at that point...

The only Etrian Oddity I have noticed is the fact that Fenrir (on the third or fourth floor?) is supposed to be a wolf... but he looks like a sabertooth tiger...

Yes, I was somewhat disappointed in the whole ordeal. Here I am, kicking wolfy fanny left and right, and I get to the big guy expecting some big gorgeous wolf- and I get a tiger? Sad day (not that I don't like tigers, mind you). And then he goes and wipes out my entire party! TT 3TT

Honestly, though...

[spoiler]what the fuck is up with primeval... is that just the HEAD we see... or is it some alien thing without a head or body and just has tentacles? I can NEVER make sense out of it![/spoiler]
