It would be neat if poison type spells would be useful in RPGs. To be honest though, I've never really tried them in the Final Fantasies. I mean, there is one called Bio that's supposed to be a more powerful variant of the basic Poison. By the time you get it though you also have higher-level spells of the other types, so I never use it.

But that would be a little troublesome with final bosses.

[spoiler]Primevil has 90.000 HP, so that would be a little unfair against bosses. And if not, regular monsters would be owerpowered against poison.[/spoiler]
