I am on my first playthrough and am curious on how Im doing in selecting my skills. Am I on the right track or am I going to be retireing my characters and reassigning points before too long? I have been going back with all characters to keep them at a fairly even level.

Just recently defeated the first boss and have about 1/3 of Floor 6 complete

Any suggestions or comments on how im doing so far?

I should have all the items and equipment avalible to me at this point. I grind a lot on each floor and i hit every Item point. Im having a hard time keeping my dark hunter alive. Any suggestions on keeping her alive would be most welcome.

I have a little bit of advice to save some SP:

* Protector:
- You don't really need Anti-[insert element here] until later in the game.
(Becomes a necessity in the post-game boss fights)


* Landsknecht:
- Tornado becomes obsolete once you get Allslash, So I just never put any SP into it.

- Blazer/Freezer/Shocker can be useful against enemies with high physical defense, but are otherwise useless until late in the game.

- 2-Hit Becomes VERY useful at higher levels, especially when trying to conserve TP and still deal a decent amount of damage.

Thanks ZetaBlade!! thats the kind of advice i was looking for. Ive read a skill guide and what effect everything has but was fearful of raising up skills that will be useless in the later floors and then having to retire or rest my characters.

Oh.... Lemme get this straight... How does the retire/rest things work? Retire takes you back to lvl 1 but gives bonus SP and rest takes you back 5 lvls and you can reassign your SP? do i have this right?

Any other tips are welcome.

A little more grinding and i should be where i want to be at this point. I may have to rest a couple characters but i wont until much higher lvl, maybe even when i get them to 70.

Right now my main concerns are...

{P} = Defender/Smite
{L} = ATKup/2Hit... Is it worth maxing Cleaver for single enemys?
{M} = Immunize
{A} = Tier 2 Fire and Ice
{T} = ?? Healing maybe.. Is it worth it?
{S} = Apollon
{DH} = ?? Debating on resting at lvl 30 and going the Sword route.. Any Suggestions?
