A new party

After spending three hours leveling my characters to level 70,
I came to the conclusion that I want to retire my current party of:

L R DH
M A

To:

R DH
M G H

Will this team be a total failure?
And, if not, what skills should everyone have?
any good skill combinations for these little guys?

I'm looking forward to hearing your suggestions!

I don't know if I'd last very long without a Medic, though...

Unless you have a crap ton of top-tier healing items stocked up, I'd have to agree.

To be honest, a dedicated Healer of any kind (i.e., Spell or Item) is fine for the game. The latter is just more dependent on, say, a Hexer for disabling enemies via Torpor a lot.

That said, I'd still just take a WM anyway.

I couldn't wait anymore!
I now have a party consisting of:

Haken, the Protector
Aschen, The Ronin

Xiaomu, the Medic
Suzuka, the Troubadour
KOS-MOS, the Hexer

And they're doing really well. I'm around level 45 now.

Anyway, I've heard that War Magi suck, and that they can't revive!
Is that true, or...?

(Because I want a different party when I retire them again...)

If I let the Ronin attack, they'd already do a lot of damage.
i won't need to use skills in every battle.
Also, if I give my troubadour Shelter, it would fix their defense.
...Maybe two ronin, 1 troubadour, 1 medic and 1 hexer?
hexer could lower the enemy's attack, solving the defense issue, too.

Wasn't Torpor a sleep skill in EOI?
What's happened to it in EOII, then?
I assume you mean using a hexer instead of a bard...

That's what I was referring to. You mentioned that you were considering a Hexer.

And, yes, Torpor is a sleep skill.

but everyone has already got the best equipment avilbale.
Any tips for super-secret awesome hidden weapons?
I've heard there was this awesome whip boasting DH's force skill, but...
