Aha, found a topic actually meant for EOII party setups:
(Anyone got a good link for all the EOII portraits?)

Guild Epicuren

F: Sae - Lv 70 Ronin (brown haired girl, pink/purple gear). [Fire]
F: Arthaus - Lv 70 Protector (blonde boy looking PO'ed).
B: Jeffry - Lv 70 Medic (red-haired spectacled chap).
B: Minori - Lv 70 Gunner (blonde girl one from the attract screen). [Ice+Volt]
B: Faust - Lv 70 Hexer (brown guy(?), with claw like fluttering clothes).
-
Shannon - Lv 31 Survivalist (brown haired boy with red shorts, green shirt & cap).
Elvis - Lv 25 Troubador (Grey haired boy, white/washed-out earthen colours)
Lionie - Lv 25 War Magus (Black haired girl, gold-trimmed witches clothes).
Kandida - Lv 24 Dark Hunter (pink spiral-curl hair, fur-lined brown leather).
Pia - Lv 23 Beast (Panda)
Laura - Lv 20 Landsknecht (brown haired girl, quite thin, blue skirt).
Marie - Lv 14 Alchemist (Brown haired girl, glasses, red suit).

Most of the sub-party members need a bit of Boss FOE grinding, obviously.

I got about 3 teams in total...
Yeah....sorry, Wall o' text.
Guild Name: Silver
Main Team, the one I beat pretty much all the game with:

C.J., Landsknecht-Pink Armor male portrait, lol. "Main Character". (The look grew on me till I loved it. I even made it a big part of his story.)
Fenrir, Beast-Wolf Portrait (The Tank/Shield. He can take absurd amounts of damage.)
Sergio, Survivalest-Blonde-haired Male Portrait (He's surprisingly not too bad with dealing damage. His other skills help too.)
Seth, Alchemist- Black-haired Male Portrait. (Megido is absurd... o_O Kills what C.J. cant. The Chasers are a nice touch too.)
Amber, Medic- older, blonde-haired female portrait. (Basically heals the beast and uses any items I need.)

Secondary Team, the one I had fun experimenting with, I had no real plan for them just wanted to try out the other classes....

Kayla, Protector-The Blonde-haired female portrait. (Keeps all the other Frail characters alive.)
Ryan, Ronin-The younger, blue-haired male. The damage dealer. (I'm just now realizing how great they are, too bad I didnt pick one on my first playthrough...)
Erica, War Magus(Witch/Shaman is what I like to call it)- Black-haird female. Works well with Sydney and is the healer.
Sydney, Hexer- The older girl. A hexer. Status Ailments galore!
Abby, gunner- The other girl portrait. Slow, yet a beast with that richochet attack, dang!!

Third Team, no real team her, just whoever's left over and I feel like needs to get off their sorry rears and help out, lol.

Shawn-Medic.
Brandon-Landsknecht.
Devin-Alchemist.
Emmy-Beast (Bear).
David-Hexer.
Justice-Dark Hunter.
Kaleb- Protector
Daniel- War Magus.

Playing the second time around with:
Front - Ronin, Dark Hunter (whips), Medic
Back - Gunner, Hexer

So, essentially, the cooker-cutter party without the War Magus. I just can't get into that class. I was wondering, though - would it make more sense to stick the Medic in the back, especially since I'm not planning on making her a battle Medic (as in, maxing Caduceus), or should I keep her in the front and max out STR UP so she's more useful in non-FOE battles? She packs quite a punch sometimes. Thanks!

I took a really unorthodox layout for mine doubling up twice
Tory -->Protector Lvl 68
Taye--> Protector Lvl 71
Amber--> Medic Lvl 70
Wulf--> Gunner Lvl 68
Locke--> Gunner Lvl 70

Both Protectors Max Smite for some heavy physical damage, One Maxing elemental Protection and the other based on physical damage and A. Guard

Medic: Dedicated healer

Gunner # 1 Bind and Physical (Leg head arm shot with Ricochet in there too)
Gunner # 2 Elemental Damage Ahoy! Riskshots and Elemental
To Sing Of Ashes To Angels

Well, I'm trying a bit of a different party, beeftanking my way through the last floor of the 3rd Stratum at the moment.

Tabin, Lv. 47 Protector (Orange-haired male)
HP Up 3/10
Esc Up 1/1
Shields 10/10
Aegis 10/10
En Garde 10/10
HP Regen 5/5
Riskwall 5/5
Smite 5/5
Byakuya, Lv. 47 Beast (White tiger)
HP Up 3/10
Vit Up 10/10
Esc Up 1/1
Autocure 10/10
Autoheal 5/5
En Garde 10/10
Maul 5/10
Devour 5/5
...And that's it! Just a man and his tiger (or is it a tiger and his man?), braving the Labyrinth and beating the crap out of anything in the way. Of particular difficulty are (or were) Trigourds, until Byakuya got an elemental claw, as well as the Mystue/Nastue enemy group, as pertification can end the party real quick. To date, I've successfully taken on most FOEs, with only Armoth of the 3rd Stratum FOEs being a bit too difficult to take on at the moment.

Hey, new to the boards, but I've been playing EOII for a while... just picked it up again...

The party that I found worked best so far for me (Still in stratum 5...)
was;

R DH R
H M
With the Hexers' skill dampen, you can change enemies that have resistances to attacks, which eliminates the use of alchemists or elemental fighters. (trigourds and flygourds can be killed in 2 turns, even if you don't use elements, for example)
The hexer also has revenge maxed, which is nice if it hits, (which isn't the most consistant on FOEs or Bosses), and terrify is maxed with the skill suicide to go alongside that, which makes the enemy hit themselves 3 times when maxed, but it also keeps them from hitting you... (win, win :D)
The ronins are just tanks with Midareba and those avoidablility skills,
And I rested my medic once I was a high enough level and took the skill points off cure 1 and salve 1, which was too weak to do anything for me at lvl 50+ (I'm at 65-ish now...)
But yeah, that's what worked for me... I'm considering an all DH team though, with the front row swordsmen with drain to keep them alive and the back row with whips and all the awesome skills to go with that... Any thoughts anyone? And sorry for the wall of text. :P
