FOE battles bug?

after fighting about 2 FOEs now i've noticed. i'm not getting any EXP for it.
is this a bug or a way to stop "power lvling" your team?

No, you don't get any experience fighting FOE's. It is change they had done from EO I to EO II.

dam. i just wasted alot of TP and healing items on that FOE battle on the 2ND floor then XD

Well, I wouldn't consider it a "waste", they still do drop nice items to sell. Although yes, I do recommend holding off on using the healing or any items if you can as that is money lost.

But it really depends on badly you need or want the item it drops.

well i didnt need the item the foe dropped since rollers drop it aswell lol

The items it drops are often VERY nice but plainly put, in this game, FOEs are simply meant to strike fear in you as you struggle to avoid and survive them.
