Has anybody else noticed that your marching speed slows down sometimes and the battle compass(?) kind of looks out of wack as you move.
I'm not talking about the slowdown when there is a bunch of FOEs on screen or the slowdown when your on a carrying quest, it's just that sometimes it movement slows down for no reason at all.
Why does the movement slow down even if not on a quest?

Re: Why does the movement slow down even if not on a quest?
Various reasons:
Quests for a certain level character. Another random quest near the end (can't remember which one).
What happens is sometimes during quests the game is searching out for that marker to see if you hit a certain requirement. This marker is too much for the game.
Also damage tiles and lots of foes. The game's graphics were just a little too much for the ds system.

I remember something about quests that require you to stepnon certain tiles would check after every step which is what caused the more severe lag.
