10th Floor Geomagnetic Pole help?

At the time of this post, I've explored most of the floor but I've found no paths to the gray pole noted on my map, and I can't seem to find any of those <> spots. Can anyone help me there?

You know that hallway with all the Trigourds in it? Get to the very end of said hallway (Watch their movements as you can slip by them without running into one if you're good). When you reach the 3 doors at the end of said hallway, take the southern one, then keep going until you reach the next room. Southern door again here.

From there, it's a pretty straight line to the Geo Pole.

Ah, dang, now I feel like a fool. I accidentally missed a door in one of the southern rooms and unknowingly painted a wall where the entrance would be. My appologies.
