here is a place to get the Etrian Odyssey II soundtrack for only $8.70

It normally costs about $30 on eBay and amazon.co.jp.

I tried it and it worked. You do have to pay --------- at least $20 for their cheapest package deal, but they have other stuff for sale, including Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3 OST (which is quite good).

I think the site is Russian. The English isn't very good and the site design is confusing. At first when I was downloading the tracks as an archive, I thought I had them all, but I had only 1/4th of them. You have to press "next" to view the next 15-or-so tracks and then download that as an archive, then press next again and do that two more times. Annoying, but it wasn't too much trouble before I had all four archives and could unpack them into one folder.

Eh, isn't all this downloading, like, illegal and/or hurting the original artist?

If I really enjoy some music I'd rather pay full price and get the CD.

But why, because it's Russian?

I didn't think of the nationality until I had already signed up and bought it. I'd gone into the help center to try to figure out why it didn't download all the tracks at once (realizing later that I had to go to multiple pages when it creates the archive). Then I saw the legality section which mentioned some Russian code of law.

Then I did feel the early tremors of conscience and worry, but it wasn't enough to keep me from posting. But now that I think about it, maybe it's an illegal site that isn't even Russian.
