Finally translated the survey posted on the Etrian Odyssey II Japanese Wiki. I had taken some liberties to the translation and they may not be as fluent, but I try to make them as close as possible to the original intention. This survey is a lot shorter than the 's one.

- I'm traveling and I spot a friendly woodland creature! What a nice critter -- hey, wait a min -- crap!!
- I must help out this poor creature! Alas, my kindness only led to my death.
- From wanting to see how the very first F.O.E. would look like.
- From trying to finish marking the F.O.E.'s movements.
- I couldn't run away with my back against the wall!
- While battling, I was intruded by a F.O.E.
- I failed to pay attention to the warning and battle the still Gashtor F.O.E.

- The map was good, but I just couldn't find the path.
- Made a mistake when mapping and couldn't find the path.
- My physical attacks weren't effective.
- I thought the Ladybug was a useless creature, until it called the Raflesia.
- Fought a Ladybug, thought it was weak -- but it had a high attack power and killed me!

- The enemy had a preemptive attack and I couldn't do anything.

- Just doing their job, the Medic. I dunno, I could never get used to the War Magus healing my party. I'm still on the ropes with them.

- I'm traveling and I spot a friendly woodland creature! What a nice critter -- hey, wait a min -- crap!!
- I must help out this poor creature! Alas, my kindness only led to my death.
- I couldn't run away with my back against the wall!
- While battling, I was intruded by a F.O.E.
- I failed to pay attention to the warning and battle the still Gashtor F.O.E. <= not exactly, i didn't read the instruction booklet and i wasn't aware of what were supose to do L&R... so i sidestep on him while trying to look at the next floor map ^_^;
- Being chased by a F.O.E.
- Didn't noticed because I was walking and fought the crab-like F.O.E.
- Died to a Boss.
- I thought damage poisoning was useless. So I done the 3 second rule~!
- They casted sleep on me and I wasted most of my turns.
- They were confused and started to attack their own party!
- They were cowering in fear.
- I was cursed and it rebounded.
- ... Oh no!
- From raising two parties.
- I thought the Ladybug was a useless creature, until it called the Raflesia.
- For trying to challenge Salamox.
- For trying to accomplish something that only your previous party could do in the first Etrian Odyssey.

- Just doing their job, the Medic. Full heal party skill? Yes please.

- Sealing them off with the Gunner. They can do surprisingly well with elemental attacks, perhaps just as good as Alchemists.

- From wanting to see how the very first F.O.E. would look like. How bad could it be? Apparently bad enough to get me a Game Over.
Can't run away with my back against the wall! 75% of my Game Overs or so were all due to this.
- I failed to pay attention to the warning and battle the still Gashtor F.O.E. I just wanted to see how bad it was.
Came to the next Stratum after fighting the Boss, and got easily killed by an orange F.O.E. Common theme for me. I get to a new stratum, save, then go get promptly owned by the newest F.O.Es in the area.
Challenged a creature only to notice that it noctural. Hi there Evildra.
- Died to a Boss. Fairly common occurence too.
- They casted sleep on me and I wasted most of my turns. Petaloids. They get the first turn. My whole party is put to sleep and promptly owned by their party wide attack afterwards.
- ... Oh no! Yay farming item points...oh hell ambush *Game Overs*.
- For trying to challenge Salamox. I actually challenged him when I was late in the 5th Stratum. I saw what Tail did and got mega owned by it.
