I'm tired of hearing people say Immunize and Defender broke EO1. The Defense mechanic itself is what broke it, not those two skills. You can get overall better Damage Mitigation in EO2 but the lack of a flat-rate reduction via DEF (applied after %-reduction) makes it less of a factor.

As for the Map Credit, you need to actually walk the tiles and draw the walls, if I recall. It's pretty fucking finicky, however, so that's about all I can say.
