Figured I'd do Spidey's new costume for the new film. I can't see anything horribly wrong with it, I even seemed to get the lighting pretty close to right. I still need work on muscle structure, though, as I normally get by by drawing baggy clothes instead of doing it right.

Sketched this out in math today, and just finished inking it now. I'm going to leave it b&w for once.

Only the top one.

The top one I tried to draw way too many times. Even now I can see his left arm should be shooting the webs more forward, rather than straight up like it is. I just couldn't get it right.

Made a few desgin changes since this one, but I like the coloring. He's also younger now.



Basically, Molotov is similar to Batman. He has no actual powers, but uses gadgets he designs to mimic flame abilities. His gloves create sparks when he snaps, which ignites the flame-throwers on his wrists, or the explosive powder he throws.

The mask on his eyes is to keep his eyes safe from his fire and explosions, and the mask over his face is to filter out smoke and hide his identity. His gloves have some kind of flint-like material on the middle finger and thumb to create the sparks. The wrist flame shooters spray out a type of fuel when he arches his wrists back, which he ignites with his gloves.

I'm working on an origin story, and may do a short 15-20 page comic of that eventually.

I actually did a background. Man, I want copic markers still. Next term when I get a job, I'll get some so I can stop bitching about it here.

I've been having trouble coming up with inspiration for CS,B's lately, and as a result the ones I do end up doing aren't as funny as they used to be.

So... I'm taking a break for a bit unless something amazing happens. In the meantime, I'll draw a couple Zelda comics, because I can always seem to come up with those.

Also, Link and pretty much everything in here belongs to Nintendo, not me.
