Got tired of posting under the other thread "been awhile" cuz let's face it I am Itl whore at times.

anywho here is art!



This is a rough for the cover of my comic I am working on and I thought I would share. yes the shading is ruff and incomplete.The final piece will be inked and colored. I just wanted some feedback.

Do you like? Is there anything wrong with the anatomy that seems jarring to you? (if there is positive crits are welcome. I won't cry much...)
If this fine specimen was on a comic book cover at a bookstore would you pick it up?

Hand/arm seems small even when taking the view in considerations face seems small but that's probably the animu-part and the size of her gounnas left shoe guard or whatever doesn't seem to go around and kinda looks flat if that makes sense place looks cramped so it also looks like her left arm is somewhere in hammerspace not sure whether the thing in the bottom right corner is a tail, part of her leg, or recto blade

It looks really good, but from what I can see of the shoulder plate, it would look neat if you could see the the whole thing... Also you should even out the design under her boobies. Other than that and what Rider Green said, it looks fantastic

These are ridiculously adorable.

I know right? I want to do a few more but I have a couple of projects to attend to first.
I guess I should do more explaining on the character an the image meaning. The character is rainbow dash. She wants nothing more than to join the wonderbolts, equestria's blue angels (if you will). She actually surpasses these ponies in skill but hasn't realized it yet. For her the "team" is the ultimate dream. Yet at times it seems far off and she gets overwhelmed by her fears. The show portrays her as strong and sometimes her ego gets out of control. I drew this piece for two reasons. The first is sometimes she has to doubt or feels like it's impossible. The second is I can relate to the impossible dream. I desperately want a career in art, but sadly, I don't see it happening anytime soon. So I get depressed and sad, yet I keep on because I hope and believe that if I try hard enough someday my dream will come true. So what your really seeing in this picture is my feelings towards the ever elusive dream.
