Whoa, these are fantastic! Congratulations.

(Note that there's a very faint white streak on the upper left corner of each picture — it's barely visible and doesn't distract from the drawings at all, but if you make the whole series and use them on a dark background it might show.)

The tree rat looks rather more formidable than the ones you see in the game ^_^

Did the mandrakes always have only one eye? It looks creepy. Its pose is jolly though ^_^

Mandrakes didn't even have eyes in Etrian I. I drew it looking at it's Etrian III sprite, and in that game it has only one (at least visible).

I know this is a "little" skip in the Monstrous Codex, but here's the next one:

It looks properly evil. For some reason my overall impression of Primevil is that it looks like an elephant. But when I look closer, it doesn't actually look much like one at all Still happens with this image.

This is the first one done that made its debut in Etrian III:

As for Primevil's elephant resemblance... I always thought that those structures at its back were like a giant pair of ears. That may have something to do with that, but it may just be the trunk-like tentacles xD.

I think I drew Primevil in about 4 or 5 hours, and it's the one I lasted the most drawing with difference.
