I just got back from hiking the Stawamus Chief. Surrounded by nature, and with a majestic view of...Squamish(was it?), I felt an overwhelming urge to just straight-up stat out some potential damage outputs for my future parties.
That's probably not a good sign.
Intro/thesis/whatever you call it
Hopefully this lets people see in advance how well their parties' damage output stacks without having to math it out themselves. LET'S BEGIN!
Math on various attacks, top contenders only
Whew. In terms of damage output, you have a rough order of:
Untouchable Tier (3000dpr+):
High Tier (2000dpr - 2900dpr):
Great Tier (1500-2000)
Okay Tier (1000-1500)
"Eccentric Tier" (less than 1000)
So there you have it. "Realistic" numbers will be MUCH smaller since book farming takes forever, but these numbers should give players interested in more unorthodox sources of damage a rough guideline to compare their party against.
