Show is about Allison Dubois (Arquette), is a strong-willed, devoted young wife and mother of three girls, who has gradually come to grips with her extraordinary ability to talk to dead people, see the future in her dreams and read people's thoughts. This season, Allison and her family's world is turned upside down after her abilities are publicly exposed, resulting in sweeping changes both professionally and personally. There are some very funny scenes with Joe attempting to work with this guy, which alleviate the tension from the rest of the show. One scene with the department of defense and these two is uproarious. The show typically has a real conclusion at the end of each episode- you're not usually left dangling till next week to see what happened on a particular case.
