Lensless goggles? Who does that? Even Radioactive Man had lenses.

C.
You are a dapper bishounen kind of guy, the type who forwent most combat related stats in favor of maximizing intelligence and speech skill. Haughty though you may be, your charisma is as nonpareil as your cunning. In order to actually progress our story instead of lingering on your own description (as you would prefer it to remain vague at the moment, thus cutting it off before it reaches your physical description), you enter a rustic little town. Though there are many places that you'd much rather be, business comes before pleasure. You are in search of an ancient and powerful artifact for reasons you are not yet prepared to disclose, there are many who would also go to great lengths to obtain this yet unnamed and pointedly vague macguffin, but they are of little consequence to you, the protagonist. But even a main character must begin somewhere, and it is fairly customary to begin in a small, non-threatening town for this type of adventure, you believe this is a tradition that is not unjustified, so you came here to town so small and non-threatening that the narrator cannot be bothered to give it a name, nor an adequate description.
Having had very little of actual value given to you in terms of information (and very little effort given to proper formatting to boot), you are now prompted with a decision.
A.
Speak to the lovely young lady whose unique appearance contrasts sharply with the surrounding NPCs who are obviously extras, making it obvious that she is intended to be a character of actual importance, with unique dialogue and possibly voice acting depending on your choice of platform. She gives off the impression of being a potential love interest, and would most likely be the canonical choice if that were the case.
B.
... (a silent protagonist should wait until he is approached, this has proven to be a recipe for success for many heroes, although it doesn't play to your archetype, it seems worth considering.)
C.
Go to the tavern to check for rumors/recruit party members. (This is fairly standard procedure for this sort of circumstance.)
D.
Get ye flask
