Combat load times are ~5-7s per attack. Per. Attack. I can't find anywhere that says you can disable animations besides one post over on Atlus forums and the Youtube videos. Even reviews of the game don't mention being able to disable them just that you can skip them.

The cutscenes are fine ... EXCEPT the blonde character who I can't for the life of me figure out the name of. She just doesn't seem to match the rest of the cast at all.

Meh, they are all in japanese, Kaining, and most are on gameplay. Nothing to really spoil.

Seems interesting, but, who knows. Maybe it will be a game I'll ask for this Xmas and play it after I've played Persona 4. Either way, I think I'll wait for it to have a used copy for cheap.
