yeah but you aren't factoring in the damage you might be taking every turn you use Shadow Ball. Shadow Force makes you impervious to all attacks for one turn, eliminating the damage you would have otherwise received had you used Shadow Ball. Using Shadow ball increases your attack power by 40 points...
