they call it "raito noberu" because they are silly japanese people and they are aimed at younger people. They even use furigana (kanji with subtitles to tell them youngins how to pronounce it). The term does not yet exist in america. The only light novels I see are just called "novels...

Man, Osaka's japanese voice was half of what made her cute. Her english voice wasn't small or troubled enough >_> also osaka accents are typically better represented as a New England sort of dialect
