She has been having a strange increase in back pain and last night it hurt too much to move. Medical staff are doing what they can. I'll try to check up on her personally when I can.

Woke up with my mother crying in pain. My brother and father were helping her out. Paramedics arrived about 30 minutes ago and now they're gone with the patient. I wished I had stayed in my room. The sight of her on the stretcher was very distressing. I don't think I can go back to sleep right now. ...
