They're not really the type of game to appeal to a mainstream audience. There's no "badass" cool guy generic tough stuff lead characters who run around with a sword chopping up dragons and saving a kingdom. They instead have a much funnier, original approach that makes a mockery of America...

MOTHER 3 is definitely a favourite from the series for me. Much better than MOTHER 2 (yes, EarthBound) and slightly better than MOTHER. The story is better, the characters have actual character to them now and the battles are actually a little more interactive!
