Re: Discussion Thread II: Return of all of the veteran ItLers
So a couple of friends of mine are heading to Japan in January. Would any of you happen to know of any shops that might carry sweet EO swag that I could send them to?

XD Oh my goodness, Hong. I can't stop laughing. <3 Noodles.
I haven't had a great variety of tea flavored snacks, but what I've tried I really like. Matcha flavored pocky is the best.

Re: What do you eat?
Aww man, that sounds terrible, Maxine! I wouldn't want to step foot in a kitchen ever again after experiences like those. :( I wish I could come over and teach you. Once you get the basics down (like burn safety, chopping technique, staples like rice which is deceptively easy) it's really just a mat...

Re: Why Are You Happy Today?
This has been an incredibly happy day. I've been crying off and on from the joy. ^_^ I know there's still more ground to be won over human rights issues, but this is huge and I am going to enjoy the hell out of it.

Re: General Writing
Just look at Hugh Howey. He self pubbed, and it was so good and got SO huge that a big name publisher swooped in and grabbed him right up. Now there are even graphic novels. But I do see how traditional publishing is way more appealing. It's less unnecessary work than self publishing though it's jus...

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: u mad?
It isn't so much "I wanna inseminate ya!" as it is "I have dreams about how we've been in love in past lives and I kinda wish we were in this one because I can picture our children and they'd be so beautiful so I'm a drunken level of sad and weepy that you don't love me and wanna make...

URe: Rant/Complain Thread: u mad?
Don't want to sound harsh or judgmental but you sure end up with some creepy roommates. Which is why my ultimate goal is to live alone again. I miss it so! I just give people so much benefit of the doubt. And really, this is the first I've seen of this side of him after knowing him well over a year...

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: u mad?
Ah, Hong. :) How do you do that? You always know what to say. <3 Thank you guys for your reassurance. I spent a solid three hours trying to talk to said roommate last night about the gender thing, among some other equally unsettling stuff. I think because he was raised by a single mother he is insec...

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: u mad?
My roomate is pissing me off with his antiquated notions about gender and identity and masculine and feminine. If I want to raise children with my potential future wife or androgynous partner, and I can teach my sons how to build a car from the ground up and how to be assertive and how to be kind an...
