Re: Favorite Books and Current Reads
Has anyone here read Graceling and/or Fire by Kristin Cashore? I read them recently and wanted to know if anyone else thought they were kind of (pleasantly) reminiscent of The Hunger Games. : D

Re: Why Are You Happy Today?
Thank you! I'm terribly excited.
I've managed to always pay for my cars in full with cash, so hopefully I will never encounter said ass-pain.

Re: DISCUSSION THREAD: Happy New Years ItLers!
I remember my ex-stepdad getting a Nintendo Entertainment System when I was five or six. We bonded over Mario and Zelda. : 3 The first console I owned was the Sega Genesis. I didn't get the GameBoy until years later, now that I'm thinking about it, and by then my brother was into games as well. Aaah...

Re: December 28th: The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro
Heh, no worries! I know lots of people in book clubs who skip entire books or only read half sometimes. In fact, one of the bookstore's book clubs has the running-joke opening line of, "So, did anyone read the book?"
Usually about half of the people raise their hand. xD
