Ah, don't feel bad about it. For me, it simply stems from having moved around a lot while growing up. I moved literally 25 times before the age of 21. Traveling lightly became a necessity. Although I always insisted on keeping my books. Only keep your very heaviest things in order to travel lightly...

I certainly don't sound Texan, at least according to the dozen or so Northerners I've spoken with. I've been told I have no accent whatsoever and I've been told I sound French or Arabic. I've even been asked if English was my first language due to how I phrase things. "Where are you from?"...
