If any of you get in on the FF14 open beta over the weekend, I'm on Hyperion as Shimaru Shimar. Ended up there due to a streamer I met.

The thoughts of how long it'd take to be competent enough to play online make me feel I wanted to really get into the scene too late. Pretty much just feel I'd be better off playing all my other, single player or co-op games than practicing for no discernible reason on fighting games.

I was reading some comments, and apparently Skullgirls has one of the best tutorials in any fighting game. Mostly instead of teaching how the game works, it teaches all the techniques and strategies for all fighting games. Mix-ups, cross-ups, etc. So at least it teaches more than how to do the comma...

Don't know. Going magic, maybe sorceress might be better. Better support, and you still have what a wizard has. Sorceress gets food, protect and blizzard; wizard has party friendly minions and slow, with some more situational spells. He apparently gets better charge, but people prefer ice for sorcer...
