Some of them are obsessed with grades. I'd say a many of my classmates are really dedicated to their education, though. It's just the GPA thing can sometimes go hand-in-hand. And it makes sense, higher grades can get you to places with higher quality education, i.e. grad schools. Lessee... I know so...

To be around people that care about education. <3 I'm surrounded by people like that all the time in high school. It's nice, but sometimes, it gets really crazy, though. >_<; "Oh my God, I got a 98 in math this quarter! Not to mention that it's weighted so it's really like a 108 anyway! My GPA...
