Re: Music you're listening to atm?

I mean, considering that seemingly 90% of our userbase likes anime and listens to anime osts, I definitely feel more out-of-place. In reality, it is an utmost rarity for two people in this community to listen to the same band, or even mode and genre. Last time I had connected with anyone was... Epi...

Re: Show Yourselves! (Photo Thread)

I wasn't actually advocating the oil rig idea. I prefaced it by saying that water seemed like a poor plan, and finished it out by saying that it was overly isolated, implying the problems that come with being stuck in one place for too long. Also, this is all a bit off topic. I wonder if a mod or so...

Re: DISCUSSION THREAD: midsummer madness

I have just discovered that Google Earth has a time slider.

Pull up the town where I grew up.

NOSTALGIA BOMBED.

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: BUMMER IN THE SUMMER~

I didn't cook much, and my apartment was a bit messier than I would've liked. This is one of my favorite things about now being a full time student (which is code for "lazy unemployed twenty something"). I didn't used to cook, ever, and my apartment was always really messy. I wasn't worki...

Re: Random Image Thread!

That is kind of weird that Kino has never come across them before. Churros are super common up here in Washington as well. Mostly because we have a small latino population but a large population of rich white people who want to appear cultured.

Re: Height thread

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scythian Kind of surprised no one pointed this out. And my speculation on your vaguely Russian nick name is probably not something we need to get into. We had one of those blow up dolls at a bachelor party I was at. The next morning we shot her. We weren't cool enough to...

Re: Show Yourselves! (Photo Thread)

Yeah, water seems precarious to me. Oil rigs are often cited as great zombie hold out fortresses because of their isolation, but those are super isolated. Lakes and smaller bodies of water seem not big enough to wait on for any length of time. I think the trick is to just avoid population density. C...

Re: Why Are You Happy Today?

Getting lost underground is just awful. I've lost plenty of good materials by being to hasty with my escapes. As for getting lost and finding my way back to my home, I usually keep a list of important coordinates, but I think a lot of the fun in Minecraft is getting lost, being able to see all the c...

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: BUMMER IN THE SUMMER~

@Trikin: Glad your interview went well, but really, that whole situation you're knee deep in sounds pretty awful. I don't think I'd ever work two jobs unless absolutely necessary, but its cool what you're doing for the bookstore. I only wish any of my previous employers had inspired that kind of dev...

Re: Show Yourselves! (Photo Thread)

I try to avoid thinking about Zombie Apocalypse scenarios because of all of the variables I think are important that other people ignore. Like whether or not the infection can be spread to non-human animals. If common cats and raccoons and rodents and dogs can be carriers than we're a lot more fucke...
