I'm a middle child. I was back home in Vancouver the other day, and my mother was drunk on tequila, as is usually the case, and she explained the tale to my brother (who lives in Vancouver), my girlfriend, and myself. "We had Patrick, and I said to your father 'Well, I want another boy, but I w...

Well, I doubt there's much out there that's harder than quantum mechanics.
http://www.thomasnet.com/articles/image/electrical-power-generation/nib-magnet.JPG
No, but seriously. People are the hardest shit to figure out there is.
http://knowyourmeme.com/i/000/046/123/o...

I have no memory of ever really "studying" during high school, at least not in the traditional sense. I found most of my classes (save of course math, which I'm simply dreadful at) in high school interesting, and as such any out of school reading I may have done in those topics was never b...

Happy birthday Maxine! (Seriously though, don't stress about living with your parents. This is a very normal thing in other parts of the world, and the idea that you hit 18 years old, move out, and never come back, while still a totally acceptable thing to do, seems to me an outmoded component of th...

That really is what /v/ is like. I try to limit my exposure to the majority of the boards on 4chan. The more niche, the better, usually. /b/ /a/ and /v/ (the 3 most visited boards, in that order) are just a fucking nightmare. I do visit /v/ for a laugh every now and then, and really, those people do...

That sound like horrible fun-killing rules, especially the turn timer. Obviously if someone implemented all of these things, it might make the whole situation way more regimented and less fun, but then that all depends on what sort of gaming situation it is. For my group we have a scheduled weekly ...

so I played a D&D-like game today (Pathfinder) and actually enjoyed it except the other girl players were like LOLOLDRUNKBROTHELLOLOL and super distracting. I was like, "Bitches, please, focus. We have shit to do." It was really annoying. When it's not your turn, either plan your next...

Good job stickin it to the "man" wish i could do that. Welcome back. My favorite part was when I told my district manager that he might better understand how branches worked if he would stop using his job to hire attractive, but unqualified, young women to furnish his district harem, stop...
