Re: Merry Armageddon, Happy Apocalypse, and jolly Judgement
I was never really crazy about the idea of drinking alcohol. Particularly after I found out how nasty it tastes. Alcohol is just like any other drink, or food for that matter, some of it tastes bad and some of it tastes good. I know plenty of people who were the typical, "Beer tastes gross&quo...

Re: Games you are playing
^I remembered Soul Blazer being incredibly tough when I was young. Was disappointed with how fast I burned through it when I played it again as an adult. Its not that hard, actually. Great game though.

Re: What are you watching? (TV/Movies)
You may enjoy this Film Crit Hulk piece . Man, someone called me a pretentious dick for making that same argument. Film crit hulk is absolutely right, and thank you for sending me this, I'm going to pass it on to people who disagreed with me. Really though I'm not super concerned with the cinematog...

Re: What are you watching? (TV/Movies)
While everyone I have encountered since seeing Les Misérables has already experienced my full fury over this totally incompetent anti-film, I feel like I will spare you guys and give you the short version. I will try to restrain myself, as anytime I have been asked my opinion on this film I have gon...

Re: Merry Armageddon, Happy Apocalypse, and jolly Judgement
^I don't really believe in censorship. Given that this isn't really the thread for that, I wont say more than that you should definitely move ahead. Don't let creative endeavors be hindered by media outrage and armed madmen. Additional: San Francisco was nice. I stayed in a hotel in Japan Town and a...

Re: What are you watching? (TV/Movies)
I thought that perhaps the 3rd one might include, say, Aragorn and Gandalf's search for Gollum, or something like that. But yeah, in general I'm a little hazy on exactly what will go into the 3rd film.

Re: Merry Armageddon, Happy Apocalypse, and jolly Judgement
Ah, the whole internet says "galick gun". Let me introduce you to Mr. Toriyama. It's "garlic". A lot of the food puns were lost in the first season of the English translation, and then, even though the translation/cutting got better, Funimation held fast on a lot of the original...

^Always Da Boyz.
My own personal Ork army are known as "Da Blue Colla Boyz", led by Warboss "Ork Springsteen" (Also called "Da Boss"). This mythology surrounding my army influenced both my painting, and got deeper and deeper everytime I played.

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: QQ moar
all they do is bitch about how our generation is so dependant on technology and stuff. Always found this funny. Its as though your parents, when they were twenty, didn't take advantage of ubiquitous automobiles and cheap gas (save for the oil embargo period) for transportation, record players, radi...

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: QQ moar
I'm having trouble comphrehending why they would force you to take specific classes. Some people want to use their children as trophies, so they force them to do things with guilt, shame, and threats well into adulthood. Its despicable, but it totally happens all the time. You don't really think so...

@Drathi: May I ask what you're studying? Also, are you actually interested in your major? If you're supposed to be a junior soon, I imagine you are currently being pressured to pick a major if you haven't already. If you are studying something you aren't interested in, or think you HAVE to study, yo...

Re: Games you are playing
Crusader Kings II. Always. I've been tempted to buy this for ages but something is holding me back. Maybe it's the fact that reviewers rave "The most important difference between this game and the vast majority of grand strategy titles is that it’s all about characters" when I'd probably ...
