Re: Rant/Complain Thread: QQ moar

^ When two of those people meet, they can fight for a year without relaxing. I've seen it, first hand. My assistant manager when I first got that job had something of an anger issue . He would get in these legendary arguments over draconic banking practices, it was incredible. He was only at my bra...

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: QQ moar

If it takes more than five minutes to handle a single customer complaint, your managers are doing something really wrong. Dealing with customers is easy. It's not about proving who is right or wrong. It's just getting them to get the fuck out of the store before they create a scene and call that 1-...

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: QQ moar

You can lose or gain up to about 7 pounds in one day in water weight alone. It's actually a common fluctuation. No need to fret! This is accurate. My weight constantly fluctuates in a 5 pound range depending on water loss. If I spent the previous night drinking whiskey after whiskey, I usually end ...

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: QQ moar

Ignore this. The artifacts of times gone by are excruciating. I look at a picture of my father, in our old home, for a moment. Its so happy for that moment. I recall the good times. Then it fades. Rapidly. I want to be back in that sitting room in Waterford. I want to be on that deck in Washington, ...

Re: DISCUSSION THREAD: Where do you keep your washing machin

Alright. Draft of paper done, clocked in at around 18 pages of my 14 limit. Gotta shave off about 1000 words. I'm looking at you, historical context section.

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: QQ moar

student loans are something I am fundamentally against but sometimes you need to get in debt to move up in life Higher education in the United States has facilitated the ridiculous growth of the student debt industry. Its a cultural problem made worse by corporate opportunism and collegiate complac...

Re: DISCUSSION THREAD: Where do you keep your washing machin

Well, since its an oral monologue she probably wants to leave it open ended. That doesn't seem that bizarre to me. I'm mostly talking about sit down final exams where the professors never even mention whats going to be on it, including topic, until you sit down to take it.

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: QQ moar

Have to write this research paper by Thursday. I know the topic really well, and I have a really clear and fleshed out outline, but I simply cannot seem to put words to the page for the actual paper. Kind of frustrating.

Re: DISCUSSION THREAD: Where do you keep your washing machin

I just hate any exam where the professor is purposefully vague about the content and format. It serves no purpose but to attempt to force you into studying an entire course of material, or going for memorization when it turns out to be essay based. Thankfully, in my coursework, my finals and midterm...

Re: Show Yourselves! (Photo Thread)

You look like any average person from the Northwest. Hipster usually wear clothes that are very uncomfortable for the sake of "fashion", and you look very comfortable indeed. Come to Seattle! You'll never be accused of being a hipster for dressing that way, your clothes aren't ironic enough!
