Re: DISCUSSION THREAD: kino is king of the post-count mounta

Re: Pathfinder RPG - Come play!

Bard* Bards are perfect for those who want a little bit of everything. They perform an assist role in most parties, and often feature prominently as a 5th character in a 4 man party, or as the party face, filling in all the gaps that many traditional parties have outside of combat. The bard truly is...

Re: Pathfinder RPG - Come play!

I will try to expound a few ways that individual classes can be played, as well as what makes them cool and unique. Pathfinder and D&D, as well as most other games of this type, are steeped heavily in a traditional party setup (Fighter, Cleric, Rogue, Wizard), but when the party is larger roles ...

Re: DISCUSSION THREAD: kino is king of the post-count mounta

Apparently I have to write a short bio of myself for my university's history journal (publishing a paper of mine). Not sure whats appropriate. Should probably just say REDACTED.

Re: Pathfinder RPG - Come play!

Sorry I wasn't around. Had my German final this morning. Everything go okay? Also, saw those class descriptions you posted, sorry I have been useless this week. German is a killer.

Re: DISCUSSION THREAD: kino is king of the post-count mounta

Very sad. Meanwhile, near the scene of the cafe shootings, friends of the victims converged Wednesday night on the lawn of a house less than a block from the crime scene. Was that The Bro Mansion, or another house? Could have been. But there are other houses in that area. The bar is built into an o...

Re: DISCUSSION THREAD: kino is king of the post-count mounta

Double post! So this happened today at a bar I go to whenever I'm in that area. The bar is also about 100 feet from the front door of a wretched hive I once resided in (commonly called "The Bro Mansion")

Re: Pathfinder RPG - Come play!

Excellent! @Scheduling: Yes. I am done with finals after the 6th. I'm Pacific time, and could probably do mornings on Saturdays during the summer without an issue. Probably better actually, my girlfriend hates when I'm gone all evening playing D&D or something on weekends. Starting June 11th, my...

Re: DISCUSSION THREAD: kino is king of the post-count mounta

@Starfe If it's all the same to you, I would really really prefer to DM! I have a ton of ideas already plus I already never get to DM at my other games ;__; please lemme be the DM! I'm going to start a thread in the RPG forum, as that seems the best spot for it. Yeah absolutely! Thats fine by me. I...

Re: DISCUSSION THREAD: kino is king of the post-count mounta

An 8 week SAT prep course? Good god. I sat my SAT hungover and did just fine. I've gotten into a bunch of schools, including some good ones, like the one I'm currently attending.

Re: DISCUSSION THREAD: kino is king of the post-count mounta

I find Pathfinder to be the best of all of the D20 based fantasy D&D type games, better than 3.5 and 4.0 at least. I think its fairly accessible, and in my experience people with very little tabletop experience have a harder time getting into the RP aspects than understanding rules, so rules lig...

Re: DISCUSSION THREAD: kino is king of the post-count mounta

IRC? No. OpenRPG is the best.

I've thought about this. I might be happy to run a one shot or short campaign for ItL people over ORPG, but I imagine scheduling would be tough.

Re: Dream land

Took a floor nap last night after my girlfriend fell asleep while we were watching Indiana Jones. At some point in the floor nap I got up, went to the bathroom, and took a shower fully clothed. Eventually came to when the water started getting cold. Happy I didn't have my phone in my pocket. Having ...

Re: DISCUSSION THREAD: kino is king of the post-count mounta

@Kino: Yeah, I know. Its way worse in other parts of the country, I was once at the Atlanta airport during the summer and made the horrible mistake of stepping outside for a minute. Never again. All of my places of residence (Ireland, Western Washington, a bit of Vancouver, BC) have acclimatized me ...
