Re: EOII Rantage!

They're just passive skills now, you don't need to enter any stances to use any of the skills the Ronin has. You will probably be spending a turn to use Dead Law anyway. Think of that as your stance skill I guess =/

Re: EOIII Questions thread

I've decided that my gladiator could use a bit of work. What would be a good subclass that involves blade rave as the main skill? I'm using ninja at the moment. Its really up to you, whether it be Monk for Ascetic Deeds or Shogun for Kaishaku. A sword Gladiator doesn't benefit from subclasses very ...

Re: New to the series, new to the forums. Hello...

having no idea what 7th dragon is, I must say I'm glad to hear of the overhaul for E2. 7th Dragon is a RPG with similar mechanics to the EO series. Some of the team that made the first EO worked on it. Its an amazing game but its only in Japanese =( http://hardcoregaming101.net/7thdragon/7thdragon....

Re: New to the series, new to the forums. Hello...

Alchemists are rather...rubbish. Yeah they are. They're only useful during the early stages of the game since their poison spells are fairly overpowered in the beginning. 255 damage and it doesn't require much investment! Later on their damage to TP ratio is just awful. Status effects are all super...

Re: EO Rantage

If you're going for a dedicated healbot, you'll probably end up with both Cure III and Salve II anyway. Its only for those daring enough to use a combat Medic, that will probably not consider using Cure III. Since the amount of SP you'll need for Caduceus and ATK Up is pretty steep. So worth it thou...

Re: EO Rantage

I think I mentioned it before but yeah, Cure III isn't really all that useful. The AoE heals are powerful enough to conserve your party's well being.

IIRC I think Salve II does cost more TP than Cure III though.

Re: EO Rantage

Oh man, the only thing worse than that is not being able to use Hexers until... some point after the furtherest I have gotten in the game. It was super lame, since they looked so cool. Well, the female ones did. The male ones looked like floating torsos. You get them in the 4th strata, which really...

Re: EO Rantage

Yeah, Allslash is pretty much your can of "Random-B-Gone". Swords can use the chaser skills as well which do some pretty good damage if you have more than one toon with elemental attacks. I should really get around to finished that new run I started. But I really hate how you can't use Ron...

Re: New to the series, new to the forums. Hello...

I've heard a lot of people say the series gets better with each game, and that I should've just started with the third one and pretty much skipped the first two, but I decided to do them in order. It's good to see SOMEBODY giving praise to the first one though, as I'm loving it so far and I thought...

Re: New to the series, new to the forums. Hello...

Yes, that. Likely I'll probably just try to beat the second and third ones, though. Forth one's coming out on the dsi though, so I'm not sure if I'll manage to play that one. Firstly welcome to the boards! Never fear, we don't bite much . Secondly, I would highly recommend trying out EO2 and 3. The...

My Steam ID is Cirno9999 if you want to stalk join me. I already added Reynard... at least I think it's the right Reynard =/ Ha, yeah. It's me. So how's Torchlight 2? I think I'm too early in the game to judge it so far. The game seems to have the more linear level design Diablo III had but it stil...
