Re: Yggdroid: Worth it?

personally, i treat retiring different based on purpose... but then, i've played games like Wizardry 6 & 7, which made multiclassing available but at a cost- you reset your stats to the bare minimum required, level drops to 1, but keep all previous skills!! Not sure about Wizardry 6, but in Wiz...

Re: Games you are playing

Finished Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark. Felt a lot easier than the original campaign... probably because I didn't have to start at level 1. Low levels... the bane of any Sorcerer... Also downloading the Dark Souls off Steam. Seems like the sort of game you guys would play a lot so... a...

Re: My team (Rate my team 3.0)

You only need one toon with the Hoplite skillset. I'd suggest changing her into a different class entirely. Likely into something more offensive. If your Princess is still using the Pierce chaser you might want to consider an Arbalist. Preferably with Front Mortar ;) So two Arbalists are fine but n...

Re: My team (Rate my team 3.0)

@.@ so much stuff...I'm gonna have to rest my whole team yet again... Should I keep my H/W or turn her back into a H/N for Otori? You only need one toon with the Hoplite skillset. I'd suggest changing her into a different class entirely. Likely into something more offensive. If your Princess is sti...

Re: My team (Rate my team 3.0)

About the Wildling...I retired her. I replaced her with an Yggdroid and re-subbed my Hoplite with Farmer. I would link the new thread, but the 3DS Internet browser is horrendous and my PC is...out of commission until Wednesday. Hoplite/Wildling is a better choice than H/F. Grab Primal Drums (And ma...

Re: Sekaiju no Meikyu IV: Densyou no Kyojin announced!

Still refusing to spoil the OST for myself Same here. Its a great feeling when you enter a new stratum and hear a wonderful new tune. ... Though there was that feeling of betrayal when I found out what the battle theme for the 6th strata was in EO3... Just know that Yuzo is still awesome, even with...

Re: My team (Rate my team 3.0)

Meteor is a waste of skill points on a Z/A. Meteor is more for Z/G. Z/A should be focusing on barrages, elemental masteries, etheric charge ether mastery and singularity. If you want to rain down fire and brimstone, you'll want a Z/G instead. Meteor works best with Charge and Berserker's Vow. The Ar...

Re: EO Rantage

How sweet of you <3

Every child I know has no interest in RPGs. I end having to play Contra or any similar variants to keep them amused. Not that I mind, but I wish they were better at it =(

Re: EOIII Rantage!

Shin having pretty much full party status effect attacks, and most later bosses have an all-party status effect (or binds, GRRR!), it makes for an easier fight. Head Bind on Shin. VICTOLY Plus since you get your TP back for it ending that round, its just fuel to the fire, especially if you max it o...

Re: EOIII Rantage!

Ketos. Oh god, Ketos. I never use a Princess in the early floors so using Prevent Order would be impossible. It would make him even easier than he already is though. But to be honest, its probably not necessary. Sleep Guards will make Great Melody less of a pain to deal with. Refresh will take care...

Re: EOIII Rantage!

long time Princess/Ninja user here. Bunshin= full party buffs from prince/ss set after 1 turn, and thanks to passives, makes it easier to get SP back as well. also makes using some limits easier since you can use 1 less person on the prince/ss' limit. and yes, full party Prevent Order seems to be a...
