I meant a tank specifically for the back line, and can use 95% of their skills still. Spears could be used in the back row with no penalty in EO3 though... so Hoplites already kinda fell under that. As for what classes I'll pick, ehhh. I kinda really can't decide unless I knew what their skillsets ...

I found Harpuia's damage more of a pain to deal with than her ailments. She hits pretty dang hard; though the first time I fought her I was severely underleveled and undergeared.

Shin should be relatively easy with your team. You need Prevent Order though, as that buff will make you immune to all of her status effects. You got lucky, Scylla was a headache for my ailment team so I gave up I switched to a elemental nova team to beat her and , since they have way too many immunities.

Ailments and binds are much more powerful from the 4th strata onwards at least ^^

Volcanion is immune to water since he has Water Absorb as his ability.

He's weak to Ground, Rock and Electric. Resistant to Bug, Steel, Fire, Ice and Fairy. The common weaknesses are an issue, but he has some excellent resists. Especially since most of them are 1/4 effective.

The class itself is classic mode only unless you use Alter Class, but it does allow spears to be gotten in Story mode.
