Re: Pokemon General

Mega Altaria would make a great bed or pillow. ... Dragon/Fairy seems like a scary good type since it has loads of resistances. Pixelate is great too! Depending on its offensive stats, it could use a powerful Hyper Voice or Return. Mega Salamence looks dumb. Aerialate is probably the best thing that...

Re: EOIII Questions thread

Regal Radiance actually is a physical attack. It works with both Charge and Berserker's Vow. Has the same formula as every other plus the weird buff gimmick thing it has. Also, Zodiacs should never have any TP problems. Amritas are in plentiful supply (Just harvest in the 2nd strata with 5 farmers) ...

Re: Guild and Class selection

Daifuhensha is best buff.

I had a Bodyguard/Daifuhensha combo going once with a Ninja/Hoplite and a Arbalist/Shogun. It made bosses that had limited or no full party attacks hilarious to fight.

Re: Games you are playing

I can see that Swiftcast would be very situational, because technically if a Healer needs to use it, they're doing a bad job healing. But it's more of a "just in case I need to quickly Ressurect someone" thing, or maybe to re-summon. For SCH probably, you have Lustrate (Which is amazing )...

Re: Avvy and Siggy Rating

Time for a new avatar of the TRUE main heroine of EO2.

Don't let that new story mode that's coming up out let you think differently. This is a FACT.

Re: Games you are playing

Scholars only really need Swiftcast and Aero. Protect and Stoneskin are nice to have but are only needed when a White Mage isn't present. In 4-man duties I would definitely have Protect around. Surecast is very situational and can generally be ignored. Don't remember if they get anything else. Anywa...

Re: EOIV Rantage!!

I haven't gotten past the area from the demo in any of my restarts, lol. And I guess I meant I just dislike game-breaking strategies, more than difficulty. There isn't really anything truly game-breaking per se, there isn't anything as ridiculous as EO2's Force skills or Hexers at any rate. I would...

Re: EO NEWS - NEW GAME TEASED?

EO2 definitely doesn't have my favorite class in it. So I'm definitely not interested. ... As for EO2's polish. Well to it's credit, it IS more polished than the original EO1 IMO. EO1 had its fair share of underpowered classes as well, and its in a more extreme case in post-game, with 3 classes bein...

Re: Games you are playing

7th Dragon. Ugh. Just beat Flame Eater, and even though this is the furthest I've gotten, I'm already thinking of redoing my party again. There's nothing wrong with it per se. I just feel that a Fighter would mesh better in my party than a Rogue now. Even if I do go along with it... yeah never beati...

Re: Games you are playing

FF XIV: Hahaha, my Carbuncle II ended up playing more of a tank than an actual tank class. He just stood there and took all the hits from the boss and I just focused on healing him, and still I got no positive votes for it. :I Why were you even using Topaz in a dungeon to begin with? The only reaso...

Re: Guild and Class selection

I'd recommend snagging pincushion at LEAST for bosses since bucaneers have the strongest physical attack I can think of. Yggdroid main. They don't have the TP pool to spam it without Dark Ether support, millions of Amritas or their gimmicky TP recovery options. Yggdroid/Buccaneer Going Swashbucklin...

Re: Character/Party Build Ideas?

It's amazing for TP management and damage output. R/B is better for both though, if I remember correctly. For random skirmishes, R/I is generally better for TP management, since it requires little setup and you can easily setup battles so that Finisher and Absorber will always proc. For raw damage ...

Re: Guild and Class selection

Wouldn't W/Z be the better choice over Z/W? Windling's class skill gives its summons more power (for the specific-fight summons), while the zodiac class skill doesn't really affect it's ability to spam out Dark Ether. Zodiacs have better base stats (Higher TEC and TP), though this can be made irrel...
